AI giving back to artists
Regardless of the debate with AI and copyright, it is clear that AI was "trained" without the consent of many artists.
"AI does not "memorize" and replicate existing art in a digital collage. AI is not going away, it is here, the door has opened.
One thing we can try to do is use it ethically to give back to the human art world it trained from. That is the vision of Dragonations.
25% of all net proceeds from this site will be donated to artists chosen on a rotating basis at the site Go Fund Me. The artists chosen will be contacted and verified and donations logged on this site.
None of the AI art featured here on this site were generated using any artists' or businesses names. The images for print on this site are PNG and set for optimal 300 DPI printing to ensure the best quality printing possible.
The brainstorm behind Dragonations does not claim to be an "artist", more like a wordsmith dabbling with art editors and tools such as AI to produce imaginary images. In that sense, the term "Imagineer" comes to mind, coined by Walt Disney.
